Friday the 8^th of March was a long day for me and my schoolmates with who had stayed in Dubai, because we had to travel back to the Netherlands in the night from Friday to Saturday. Today's activities were visiting the flower garden “Dubai magical garden” and relaxing at the beach in the afternoon. After checking out we were surprised that we were unable to travel by subway to the “Dubai Miracle Garden”, because it doesn’t drive. In that case we had use a hybrid taxi, so we traveled through the city in a sustainable way. The “Dubai Miracle Garden” is a very big garden with many paths. Everywhere you look around you saw flowers. Such as in big figures, hanging in bins and in the ground. There are figures of Disney, like Mickey and Donald. But you can also see a real airplane, a castle, harts and different animals. It isn’t a sustainable attraction, trough they have to use a lot of water for all the plants and flowers. But water is gradually supplied during the day.

After one and a half hour we traveled by taxi to the beach at the Dubai Marina. It is lovely weather, without clouds and 25 degrees. We had lunched with all the students by a beach club. The rest of the afternoon we had relaxed on the beach. This beach with its boulevard were very clean and tidy. There are showers that didn't use much water and many waste bins. Around half past five we had took a taxi to take and a shower in the hotel. Some other student where with us in the taxi so we didn’t emit too many exhaust gases.
